“score to a mystery” sort of emerged from a series of sketches I made through the first half of 2022. The texture and instrumentation is largely sampled from field recordings and recorded conversations made in the years preceding the pandemic. Recordings that I revisit often as well as recordings that have been neglected for years – unnamed and unmarked on my hard drives. The primary tones are sampled from a series of recordings I made in train stations while traveling at the end of 2019.
